Genetic disorders could include Down syndrome, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy, Cystic Fibrosis, and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. In looking at your child’s needs a therapist will be able to determine what course of action is best to help them reach their maximum potential.  Your physical therapist will approach your child’s care from a team approach, working with other disciplines to help your child achieve overall goals.
